Russ Kirk Microsoft MVP
Russ has nearly twenty years' experience in IT, most recently providing infrastructure design, consultancy and technical project management, with a background in development and support. He has a wide knowledge of systems integration, process re-engineering and supplier management, including risk management and due diligence work.
Russ has worked with a variety of IT organisations including vendors and manufacturers, resellers and end-users. Since 1999 he has specialised in converged networks and collaboration solutions. Focusing mostly on integration of Microsoft and Cisco environments, he has a unique set of knowledge and expertise.
Art Ho BA, LLB, PDLP, MCTS, MCP
Art is a solutions-oriented legal and IT specialist working with collaboration platforms. He has eight years IT project management and business analysis experience and has managed full life cycle national and international deployments covering business case development, technical and process design, configuration as well as training and operational hand-over. Art has undertaken consultancy assignments for both SME and global clients. Combining leading edge technical knowledge with legal and financial expertise has enabled Art to design complex legal compliancy solutions in parallel to providing expert technical advice.
Art holds MCTS and MCP certifications and has been a self-admitted geek since the 1980s. Apart from his BA, Art has benefitted from a degree in Law (honours LLB), has completed Canadian Securities training as well as completion of the Post Graduate Degree in Legal Practice (LPC). Art’s interests include intellectual property law and rights, collaborative technologies, UNIX, programming and 16-bit video games.
Pritesh Patel BSc, CCNA, MCSE, MCSES, MCTS
Pritesh has worked with Microsoft technologies for 15 years; his experience started with the MS-DOS platform and has grown with the subsequent Windows releases. His interest peaked at university in IT security, where he learnt about the attacks a potential network could suffer, this allowed him to use simple and cost effective means in protecting networks; he has since developed a keen interest in proactively protecting networks, and the importance of identity management.
Pritesh enjoys “playing” with new technology, and learning about their innovative applications. In his spare time he enjoys learning to play the piano and reading books, he is a keen gamer and enjoys quality time with his Xbox, oh, and his family.
